Frequently asked questions.
1. What is FUCKDCF?
FUCKDCF is a survivor-led platform created to expose the lies, corruption, and abuse within the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and similar child welfare agencies. We give families, survivors, and whistleblowers a place to share their truth — uncensored, unedited, and unapologetic.
We are not affiliated with any government agency. We exist because of what they did to us.
2. Why was this site created?
Because too many families have been destroyed, too many children have been traumatized, and too many voices have been silenced. This site was born out of pain, rage, and the need to finally be heard.
The system has failed us. This site gives us the microphone back.
3. What kind of stories can I share here?
Anything you’ve lived through involving:
Wrongful removals
Fabricated reports
Foster care abuse
Social worker misconduct
Family court corruption
Forced adoptions
Retaliation after asking for help
DCF overreach
Mental health abuse tied to custody cases
Insider knowledge or whistleblowing
If it happened to you — or you witnessed it — this is where it belongs.
4. Do you edit or censor stories?
No. Never.
We don’t sanitize your experience to make it easier to digest. We post it exactly as you submit it — raw, unfiltered, and real.
5. Can I stay anonymous?
Yes. You can use a fake name or no name at all. You don’t have to include your email unless you want us to follow up. But remember: if you submit something, you are still legally responsible for what you write.

6. Will you remove my story if I change my mind?
If you’re the original author and you request removal in writing, we will honor that. But understand this: once your story is public, it may be saved or archived elsewhere beyond our control. Be sure you’re ready to speak.
7. Are you affiliated with any law firm, media outlet, or political group?
No. We are independent and community-run. This site was built by survivors and families with zero tolerance for agendas, spin, or bureaucratic sugarcoating.
8. Can this website help me with a legal case?
Not directly. We are not lawyers and we do not offer legal advice. However, we aim to:
Show you how to request your records
Guide you on how to file complaints
Connect you to others who’ve fought back
Provide templates, tools, and leads for research
9. Will you report what I write to the authorities?
No. We do not share your submissions with anyone unless required by a valid court order. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, you should contact local law enforcement.
10. Can DCF or the state take down my post?
We don’t take down posts unless:
It contains hate speech, child exploitation, or direct threats of violence
It is proven to be fake and submitted with malicious intent
It contains copyrighted material you do not own
We do not remove posts because a government agency feels “uncomfortable.” Truth is not defamation.
11. Can I upload photos, documents, or evidence?
Yes. If you have screenshots, paperwork, or recordings to back up your story, include them. We’ll post them with your submission when possible.
Make sure to redact anything you don’t want the public to see.
12. How will you use my story?
Your story will be posted on our site as submitted. It may also be:
Shared on social media (anonymously if requested)
Included in survivor campaigns, articles, or awareness efforts
Used to build pressure on agencies, lawmakers, or the public
We will never sell or license your story without your written permission.
13. Do you make money off this site?
We are funded through:
Donations
Sales of FUCKDCF merch
Possibly affiliate partnerships or fundraisers down the road
Any money made helps us maintain the site, fight legal battles, support outreach, and build survivor-led advocacy.
14. Can I volunteer or help out?
Yes. We need writers, researchers, state-specific DCF guides, graphic designers, legal minds, and survivor voices. Reach out through the Contact page and let us know what you can offer.
15. What’s the ultimate goal of FUCKDCF?
To blow the lid off the child welfare industrial complex.
To document and expose the harm DCF and similar agencies have inflicted on families nationwide.
To build a record they cannot erase — one survivor at a time.
To push for accountability, policy change, and healing, not just for us — but for every future child and parent they haven’t reached yet.
